EMDR Intensives for Trauma and Healing

For many women, weekly therapy can feel slow, interrupted, or difficult to fit into a full life.

EMDR intensives offer a different path.

Instead of 50-minute sessions spread over months, intensives create a focused, intentional space to process and heal more deeply—without losing momentum.

🌿 What Is an EMDR Intensive?

An EMDR intensive is an extended therapy session (half-day or full-day) designed to help you move through a specific issue, memory, or pattern in a more concentrated way.

This format allows your nervous system to stay engaged in the healing process longer, often leading to more noticeable shifts in a shorter period of time.

🌾 Who Are Intensives For?

EMDR intensives may be a good fit if you:

  • feel stuck in patterns like people pleasing or overthinking

  • are navigating trauma or unresolved past experiences

  • want to make meaningful progress without months of weekly therapy

  • have limited time (busy professionals, parents, etc.)

  • are ready to go deeper in a supportive, contained way

🔥 What to Expect

Each intensive is thoughtfully structured and includes:

  • pre-intensive consultation and preparation

  • guided EMDR therapy with breaks and pacing

  • support for nervous system regulation

  • post-session integration support

This is not about pushing or overwhelming your system.

It’s about creating the right conditions for meaningful, lasting change.

🌱 Half-Day & Full-Day Options

Half-Day Intensive (3 hours)
A focused session to work through a specific memory, belief, or pattern.

Full-Day Intensive (6 hours)
A deeper, more immersive experience designed for more complex or layered experiences.

🤍 A Different Way to Heal

EMDR therapy asks, “What’s stuck that’s causing yuck?”

Maybe it’s trauma.
Maybe it’s negative self-talk.
Maybe it’s a bad habit that you want to break.

Rationally, you know you don’t want to keep struggling with this issue and yet, you do.

So, now what?

EMDR therapy can be helpful for symptoms of trauma and an abundance of other issues. You do not have to be diagnosed with PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) in order to experience benefits of EMDR therapy.

Your pain matters to me.

EMDR therapy can help

EMDR stands for eye movement desensitization and reprocessing. It’s a type of structured therapy that encourages a person to think about past adverse life experiences while simultaneously experiencing
side-to-side eye movements, called bilateral stimulation (BLS). Not hypnosis!

I am a certified EMDR practitioner and I have personally witnessed transformation that just doesn’t occur with traditional talk-therapy alone.

I love EMDR because clients don’t have to talk about the most painful moments of their lives again and again and again in order to see results. We just trust your nervous system to help heal itself. It’s pretty remarkable.
